The reception will be at Tavern & Grocery and its accompanying speakeasy, Lost Saint. Tavern & Grocery is about a 7 min walk from Old Met and a 1 min walk from the Doyle Hotel.

What Time IS the SHOW?

Ceremony starts promptly at 5:30pm.

Venue to Venue Info

For those staying at the Doyle, the plan is to walk from the Doyle to Old Metropolitan Hall (our ceremony location). It is about a 7min walk. If you’re walking, maps may erroneously direct you to turn down Ridge Mcintire Rd and go around the pedestrian mall, but ignore this! Keep going straight down West Main Street -> East Main Street for the more scenic, and much quicker, route through the downtown mall.

After the ceremony, we will all walk back to Tavern and Grocery (our reception location) for copious cocktails.

We recommend bringing an umbrella in case of rain.

What is the Attire?

Cocktail attire with personality. Think fun colors, interesting textures, and statement pieces. Your excuse to wear something you love but don’t usually get to.

For those not attending the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, there’s no formal event the night before the wedding but the Doyle Hotel has a rooftop bar with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains that we plan to informally gather at. The ceremony and celebration will be Saturday afternoon into the evening. No plans for Sunday, so skedaddle when you want to.
